The Wackiest Wildest Weirdest Animals in the World by Jack Hanna

I just had the opportunity to review The Wackiest Wildest Weirdest Animals in the World by Jack Hanna. This is a great book for kids and adults alike. I had to pry the book away from my three year old just so I could look at it to do this review. It is pretty big so the pictures are large and of course colorful. There are 30 different animals featured. Each one has it's own page and at least one large color photograph. Every animal has basic facts listed about it such as what they eat, where the live, and how big they are. Then you can read why Jack thinks they are wild, weird, or wacky plus read a couple other fun facts about them. This is a great book for anyone interested in animals or for teaching children. My three year old loves to look at the pictures and let me tell her about the animals but I think older children would really like this book too. It would make a great gift.  If you want to learn more about becoming a book reviewer you can go here

Albertson's Deals

I got everything pictured above at Albertson's for $19.64!! That is a savings of 79%!!! I was lucky I printed the Kelloggs coupons available on Coupons.com
last month but if you weren't so lucky don't dismay there will be $1.00/1 Kellogg cereal coupons in this Sunday's paper. You can see a full preview at Coupon Clippers just click on the tracker feature.

Grocery Deals

Here are the grocery stores for the week. Albertson's has a lot but Kroger isn't as good. I don't know if I will be going there this week or not. I am also adding Brookshire's because I know some readers have one near them. I wish I did.

Grocery Store Deals

I know we all love Couponing101, but the last couple week I have noticed several deals missing from her match-ups. Since I don't have time to go through the ads every week (See note here) I needed to see if anyone else out there was doing match-ups for our local stores. I am happy to say Jen at Jen Super Saves recommended Happy Couponing and she is fantastic. I like that she separates her posts into categories with "total steals" being listed at the bottom and that she lets you know if something is cheaper somewhere else this week. Here are her match-ups for the week.

Let me know what you think!

Twitter

I am happy to say I am now Twittering! It took me awhile to come around to it. I just couldn't see the point but let me warn you it can be addictive. If you would like to follow me on twitter please click the picture above.

Walgreen's & CVS

There are some deals up for Walgreen's and CVS. This is the first set I have seen when I get my ads I will look through them and see if there is anything else. Plus as more blogs post their match-ups there will be even more deal saving scenarios. The drug stores are tricky and there are always new coupons, rebates, and clearance items to make the most of your money.

5¢ Hot Dogs and Cheap Kraft Cheese

Bar-S Hot dogs 55¢
-$1/2 Printable
=5¢ each!!
You can check out some more Wal-Mart deals here and here I would like to take the chance to say personally I'm not a big fan of Wal-Mart. They don't have very good customer service, but I usually find myself there at least once a month because I can't seem to pass up a good deal.

Now if you didn't take my advice earlier to print your Kraft coupons
go do it right now. Then go here and print another set of $1/1 Kraft cheese. Make sure to hit the back button and print it twice.

At Target Kraft Cheese is $2.09- $1/1 Printable- $1/2 Target Coupon=59¢ each!!

You can find some more good printable coupons here

Kraft Coupons

If you haven't already be sure and sign up below and print your Kraft coupons.  Most of these are also avaiable at Coupons.com so print several sets. You can score lots of free or super cheap stuff.
