Well moms summer is upon us and that means we have to find a way to entertain our kids on a budget. None of my kids are actually school aged so I am actually excited to have so many frugal options now that its summer. Here are some entertainment opportunities.

Our favorite blogger Hip2Save found this great coupon for a FREE two pieces grilled chicken meal from KFC . I don't know about you guys but one expense I am always trying to cut is my husbands lunch. He does not like to brown bag it because he wants to be able to get out of the office so I love coupons like this.

Kroger, Albertson's, & FREE laundry detergent

Couponing101 has the coupon match-ups for our favorite grocery stores up. She is trying a new format and would like your input. Kroger is in the old style and Albertson's is in the new style. If you have a preference please let her know.

Kroger has a decent ad this week with the right coupons you could get a little from every department. I will definitely be going. Remember to separate your orders if you have more than one like coupon. What I have been doing is just asking the cashier if I need to separate them or if they are going to let me use three. They usually just let me use three since the computer is still calibrated to accept and double/triple three like coupons.

Albertson's-This is the new format so be sure to check it out and let her know what you think.

A lot of times it was too late for them to get the deal or coupon so they were getting left out. This made me feel terrible so I am going to make an effort to put more stuff out there so that everyone I know has the same opportunity I do! I was skeptical too but I have been researching these offers online and they seem legitimate.  You can read more about them at one of my favorite blogs Hip2Save.  Here is how this one works.  You go here and sign up for one offer.  I did the Credit Check Total.  You get a free credit report and as long as you cancel in 10 days its free.  They also had a Netflix offer but I already have Netflix.  Once you complete your offer log back into FreebieJeebies.  Mine showed offer complete immediately.  That means you can cancel your trail offer.  Then you have to refer your friends.  You can pick from lots of different items so the number of referrals depends on the item you choose.  I picked an I-phone which is 19 referrals.  You can track it all online.  Once 19 people sign up and complete an offer then you get your free item!  I'll keep you posted on mine.  Good luck!

Earn from Home

It's Friday so it is time for another edition of "Earn from Home". Today I am talking about Swagbucks. I have done a post on this before but I have now been usung it for a couple weeks and I wanted to give my opinion on if it is worth it or not. At first I wasn't that impressed but I realized the problem is me! I am really forgetful so I kept forgeting to use their search engine. I have started opening a Swagbucks window when I turn the computer on and then minimizing it until I need to search for something. Since then I have started earning a couple Swagbucks a day. Right now I am up to 20. I have only been really working at it a few days. A $5 Amazon gift card is 45 points so I am almost half way there. Since I am earning point for something I would be doing anyway I think it is worth it. I figure I can save my points to buy gift cards or gifts for people. The Fort Worth Symphony presents a Free Community Concert

The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra presents a free community concert at Texas Wesleyan University on Saturday, February 21. The performance includes Vivaldi's beloved "Spring" movement from The Four Seasons as well as Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik and Symphony No. 25 in G Minor. Thomas Hong conducts and FWSO Concertmaster Michael Shih is the soloist.
Concert starts at 7:30 p.m. in Martin Hall, 1309 Wesleyan Street. For more information, call 817-531-4992.

CVS Trip

I wanted to let you know I went to CVS today to try and get my $10 ECB for buying 2 bars of Neutrogena soap and it worked! I spent $5.98 and got $10 ECB. The first one I tried was out of the soap and I got the last two bars at the second one but it was worth it.
