Kroger and Albertson's

Couponing101 has put up the coupon/sales match-ups for our favorite grocery stores.
Albertson's doesn't have a lot this week but you can get a good deal on eggs, crackers, hot dogs, & barbeque sauce. Before you buy barbeque sauce though read this post by Money Saving Mom
Kroger has some good deals on produce and meat plus a good crazy combo deal.

Current Deals

Sorry guys I have had a lot going on and have not been blogging at all. Here are some current deals from our favorite blogs.

Hip2Save has some great Target deals up. One of the best things about Target is they have their own coupons that you can print online and you can use them with a manufacture's coupon. For example if you have the B1G1 free coupon for Kraft Easy Mac you can use it with the Target printable coupon for $1/2. You would actually make money on this deal because the regular price is only 77¢. My favorite site for Target coupons is Organic Grocery Deals. You have to register to use their site.

Money Saving Mom has up a good post on the current Walgreen's Deals. I also noticed an in ad coupon for $1.79 for Blue Diamond Almonds which are a favorite snack food in our family. Plus I have a 50¢/1 coupon from a recent insert making them $1.29!

Couponing101 has up posts for CVS and the current Albertson's and Kroger ad match ups which end tomorrow. If you are headed to Kroger they have Kraft cheese on sale 3/$5 and right now Coupons.com has $1/2 coupon that you can print. I have their tool bar on the right side of my blog. If you click on it then it will take you to their site. They have a lot of great coupons up right now. Be sure to press the back button after you print the first time then hit reload and your coupons will print again.

Albertson's Monopoly Game

Sorry guys I didn't fall off the face of the planet my family and I have been in Florida for my little brother's wedding. Anyway now I am back and was going through my e-mail and I came across a new comment someone posted on my original Monopoly Game post. A reader was asking if anyone had the E22 piece for the Chrysler 300. I don't have it but it got me thinking that maybe someone else might. So I thought I would put it out there in case anyone could help her and I thought I would put up some prizes that I am close on and see if anyone has the missing pieces. Maybe together we could win a nice prize.

$500,000-Need A01 & A04
Town & Country-Need B08 & B10
$5,000 Free Gas-Need D17 & D20
$5,000 Cash-Need F30
$2,500 TV-Need G35
$1,000 Gas-Need H37
$1,000 Gift Card-Need I42

I only need 1 for a lot of the smaller prizes too but it wouldn't be much fun to split $2 with someone :-)!!

Kroger, Albertson's, & FREE laundry detergent

Couponing101 has the coupon match-ups for our favorite grocery stores up. She is trying a new format and would like your input. Kroger is in the old style and Albertson's is in the new style. If you have a preference please let her know.

Kroger has a decent ad this week with the right coupons you could get a little from every department. I will definitely be going. Remember to separate your orders if you have more than one like coupon. What I have been doing is just asking the cashier if I need to separate them or if they are going to let me use three. They usually just let me use three since the computer is still calibrated to accept and double/triple three like coupons.

Albertson's-This is the new format so be sure to check it out and let her know what you think.

Also our friend Hip2Save has a post up explaining how to get some free laundry detergent at CVS. I already went to CVS this week but I am going to go back and try it. You can check it out here

Kroger and Albertson's

Sorry guys I should have put these up yesterday it was a crazy day! Here are the links to Couponing101's sale match-ups for this week.

Albertson's has some good sales this week on meat and frozen vegetables.

Kroger has some good deals on produce and cheese.

Note: My Kroger has stopped carrying the 4-pack Cottonelle, which means no more free/cheap toilet paper. I plan on letting them know I am upset. Maybe if enough people ask for it then they will bring it back. Also beware that Kroger's coupon policy has changed and they now only double/triple one like coupon per transaction. The computer system still does three but some cashiers are overriding the system to make it only do one. If this is the case I would separate your purchases into several transactions.

Please feel free to comment below :-)

Albertson's & Kroger

Couponing101 has this week's Grocery Deals up.

Albertson's is having a B1G1 sale which is hard to match up because the ad doesn't show the prices so it is hard to see if it is a good deal unless you walk through the whole store.

Kroger has some good deals on Pillsbury products, Land O Lakes butter, Duncan Hines cake mix, and some great produce deals.

Albertson's and Kroger Ads

In an effort to cut down on the amount of time I spend on the blog I am not going to retype the Albertson's and Kroger ads this week. You can view the deals at Couponing 101. If I see any discrepancies or extra coupons I will add an update here.

Albertson's Trip

I also went to Albertson's yesterday. I bought the milk and bread they had on sale and then some Valentine's stuff for my hubby. So it wasn't a very exciting trip . Then at check out the cashier ask it I was collecting Monopoly game pieces. I somehow managed to earn 5 in this one little trip. When I got home and opened them I found I was an instant winner and won an 18 oz. jar of JIF peanut butter so it wasn't a wasted trip after all.

Albertson's Monopoly Game

Albertson's is running a new gimmick, I mean promotion :-) Every time you shop a Albertson's you will be given a Monopoly game piece. You can also win bonus pieces by buying specially marked products. I received three game pieces for my trip yesterday. Each game piece contains 4 markers and a money saving coupon. Careful when you open them I accidentally tore one of my coupons yesterday. The coupons are Albertson's in store coupons so they cannot be doubled or tripled but you should be able to use them with a manufacture's coupon. Yesterday I got (2) 25¢ off (1) 24 pack Pepsi Product and (1) 50¢ off Albertson's Ketchup 28 oz or larger. BTW The markers are not stickers you have to lick the back to stick them to your game board. I couldn't find any end date for this promotion it just says while supplies last. Good luck everyone! If you win anything please let me know.

Albertson's Trip

I didn't take a picture of my Albertson's Trip. So here is what I got:

1-bag Bird's Eye frozen broccoli
1-can Betty Crocker frosting
1-6 pack Dano-nino Yoplait yogurt
3-cans Pringles
1-half gallon Good Day OJ
1-can Progresso soup
2-pints Blue Bell ice cream
2-bottles Sobe Life Water (My Albertson's had $0.40 off coupons stuck to the bottles. So my final price was $0.20 a bottle)
6.3-lbs. Seasoned Petite Sirloin Steak (They are running a buy 1 get 2 free special. Regular price is $7.99/lb. When you buy three it's like getting it for $2.64/lb.)

My total after sales and coupons was $24.37. I saved $49.38 off the regular price. That's 67% off the regular price!
